Brookdale

My grandfather has really settled in to his apartment. He has made friends and he loves the food. Every time I visit he says he is happy that he lives here now. Everyone is very helpful and they keep me updated on if he is having an issue, but also about good things too. I'm so glad that he feels safe and secure and that he is enjoying his community. His favorite thing to do is sit outside in the courtyard with his dog and talk to people as they come by.

We toured three places and Brookdale was by far the best place. We were also looking for a room with a view of something other than the parking lot. My mom is really glad she moved there. The entire staff and residents were extremely friendly and polite. It's homey and very comfortable. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place for mom!

Brookdale North Austin staff are a cut above. They are kind, considerate, and loving. With my father's dementia they supported and cared for him but also made him feel independent. During difficult days they supported me and my family. I also felt like his room was clean and that the meals were enjoyable.

From the first tour, I knew Brookdale N Austin was special. The place had a very welcoming feel and everyone was so friendly. Both the staff and residents greeted me with Hellos and wanted to chat. I knew immediately this was the place for my dad. Because my dad had moved from another assisted living facility to a hospital to skilled nursing for rehab and then to Brookdale N Austin, I knew the transition would be difficult for him because of the many changes. Everyone on the team helped my dad acclimate to his new home. The staff is extremely responsive and truly care about the residents. I am so happy I chose Brookdale N Austin for my dad to call home.

We toured this community and it was nice. Our guide was very friendly and helpful, she took her time with us and answered all of our questions. It did feel a little more 'institutional' than some of the other communities and is a little bit older.

We had a wonderful experience with Brookdale Conway. I was always bringing something for my husband that he needed from home and the maintenance person would meet me at the door and would carry it to his room for me. This happened in the first day and continued throughout his stay. They loaned us a tv when ours did not arrive (no charge) and were very kind to my husband. Every member of the staff has a good attitude towards the patient and never ceased to amaze us in helping us with whatever matter arose.

I like the fact that they are experts with memory care and are good about communication.

My sister was widowed and never had children. When it came time for her to leave her home that responsibility fell on me to make the decision. As expected, she was not very happy with me to move her from her home. It took her a few we weeks, but she now considers it home, safe with people around her 24 hours per day. She has lived at Brookdale, Roseburg for 3 years. I chose Brookdale, Roseburg for the feeling of openness. Lots of windows. Looking out onto the patios and courtyard (my sister loves the outdoors) and the cleanliness. So many daily activities, outings, etc. to keep the residents active throughout each day. The staff...always caring and attentive. They all care about their residents to keep them happy. I am 74 years old and visit as often as possible. I can't begin to say how much I appreciate having Brookdale, Roseburg in our area. I know I have done the best for my sister as she continues to lose her memory and all we shared growing up together. It makes me sad.

It was hard to make the move but things have improved and I have new friends and am enjoying myself at Brookdale Cape Cod. I have been taking advantage of the activities and the setting to stay active with my new friends.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought the tour experience was amazing we really liked the community. However with where our loved ones health is at, at the time of e tour it was just not going to work out for us. Also be sure to read over the contract and do not sign anything unless you are ready to make the decision.

We were in great need of care for our loved one.The moment we entered the door of the Roseburg Brookdale facility we were met with concern, compassion ,caring and mmuch needed help. Our mother has recieved the most wonderful care. She is encouraged to be social and move around daily We are always notified immediately if any issue comes up i would recommend this wonderful place for anyones loved ones

All the staff are super friendly. It's very nice and clean. I would definitely recommend, my grandfather is not easy to please.

My dad is a veteran, and they have a program called Elder Life where they work with veterans to the extreme. That program has helped us tremulously in this time of need. From the other assisted living homes we looked at, Brookdale Charleston Gardens is top notch. Even the smaller rooms are a decent size. His has a refrigerator and microwave, but no kitchen sink. There are larger options with more amenities if you chose to go that route. It's like living in a smaller, more intimate community where they try to get every everybody involved, and they do a great job with that. The activities are very nice. They had a hay ride the other day with a place set up for pictures with baes of hay. And I've been VERY happy with how clean the facility is.

My grandpa lived at 2 different Brookdales. His last stay was memory care in Wooster. The staff and community are great. They took the extra time everyday to make him comfortable, Thank you for giving my grandpa his best days!

They are very efficient here. The nursing staff is very caring, and have been prepared even during the hurricane. They have taken great care of my loved one. The staff communication is very good with the family when we have questions or concerns about our loved one. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and there is a menu for the residents to order off of.

I visited six assisted-living/memory care units in the Bergen County area. This was by far the nicest one.[name removed] went above and beyond trying to get my mother into the memory care unit. They have brand new fully renovated apts. Through my research I discovered that this place has a very high level of care. And it came highly recommended by about five different people. The staff have been there over 10 years. They are a team that works together. I compared them to other places, the other places might look nice, but the level of care cannot be any better than it is here at Brookdale. The cost was also very affordable for this type of care.

We picked this community because, the director, [name removed], is outstanding. We liked the size of the facility, the food varieties, and the activities. All things that were important for my loved one.

Brookdale Sparks provides a compassionate, comfortable, and caring environment for residents and their families. The staff is very engaging and encourages everyone to enjoy their time. I would definitely trust Brookdale Sparks with my loved ones.
