Brookdale

Meridian Englewood goes above and beyond to keep residents in the state of mind they need to be in. They're very good at addressing everyone. It's a good facility. The staff are very very friendly. My friend is doing very good there in the memory care unit. It's a relaxed environment, she's more comfortable there. It was a good move.

They have recently had some management changes, and I can tell you it is for the better! There is a new Executive Director and Head of Nursing who have both been very good at listening to our concerns and getting things rectified quickly. If we ever thought about moving our mom out previously, we have fully changed our minds now. Lots of activities and the staff is fantastic. While I don't think anyone or place will ever be perfect all the time, Brookdale is earning my faith back.

My Mom is doing fine at Brookdale Littleton. It's a really nice community. I would say it is geared for people who can afford to stay there, it's a little pricey. The food is good, both my mom and Aunt have said so. They do offer activities.

We used this community for a brief respite stay for a loved one, and overall I thought they did a great job! They were very accommodating, and really bent over backwards to make her stay a pleasant one. They even switched out some of the furniture in her room at her request, which I thought was very nice of them. We would definitely use them again!

So far all good. Clean, friendly, good food, nice room.

I toured this community while looking into care options for my brother. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. This was a little out of the way for our family so we ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have felt comfortable placing my brother.

Mr. Tubbs was only at Brookdale for 2 weeks. He did end up needing more care then they were able to provide. During the time he was there, this was a pleasant experience for us. It is a nice community. Their staff is kind and helpful, and they are really good at what they do They were very attentive and nice. They have great activities for the residents to do, and they take very good care of their residents. This would be a community that I would recommend for the right person.

So far I have been really pleased with the staff. I think it's going to be a good thing. One thing we are really pleased about Brookdale, is that everywhere we go people have good things to say about them. They had the best floor plan for us, and we were able to keep her caregiver. They have been very accommodating.

Moving my father from a farm to the city was a little overwhelming for me and I'm sure it was for him too. There was a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! My dad loves Brookdale University Park, and he is again a happy man! There are many activities to choose from, outings, the food is wonderful, a large outside area with shuffleboard, horseshoes, a putting green and summer BBQs. I could go on and on. The washer and dryer in his apartment is a huge bonus. The staff is amazing, friendly and more helpful than I could have ever imagined. If you are looking, make sure this place is on your tour!

Our family selected Brookdale for our father's care because it looked well-maintained, with a caring staff, and they allowed residents to smoke in a designated "shack" outside the building. Our father was reluctant to leave my brother's home, where he had been living prior to a surgery after which my brother and his wife could no longer manage his need for full time care. We have been highly encouraged in that Papa has accepted his new situation, and even speaks animatedly to his children on the phone about the restaurant style meals and the kind care he receives. The staff has been wonderful and helpful. We are very satisfied with our choice.

My parents are happy at Brookdale Sunwest, and we are happy they are there and secure. My father has gained weight and is eating good, which is great. They enjoy the food, it's good. The community does activities and we are trying to convince my parents to participate in them. They will go and use the jacuzzi. We have referred another person to Brookdale. The only complaint is that there are gophers around my parents unit and therefore there are mounds of dirt on the sidewalk and my mom uses a walker so sometimes it is hard for her to get through that area. The community is aware of this issue. I also recommend A Place For Mom to others.

Our mom has lived at Brookdale of Creve Coeur for almost 2 years. In addition, on many occasions we have stayed in the guest suite on our visits. Our experience has been wonderful. The assistance we received in the very beginning in the sales area helped us to make a positive transition for our mom. They demonstrated a great deal of care and understanding given this was a significant change for her. Her large one bedroom apartment provides a great deal of comfortable living and storage space. The food and dining services have been consistently very good. There are multiple daily activities and opportunities for outings. She also benefits from having the Brookdale Home Health Services located right in the facility, along with their Personalized Living Program. They came in very handy when she needed some additional support. Her overall experience, and ours as family members, has merited a consistent 5 star rating.

In visting Belle Meade, our expectations were beyond exceeded. We moved our loved one into their memory care unit Clare Bridge. It has been a very positive experience to say the least. In reading some of the reviews before making visits, I have to disagree with the one that the food is not appealing. We have not had any complaints, except our dad is gaining much needed weight. The staff is friendly, and Emily does a great job in keeping them engaged. His apartment is always neat and tidy, and it never smells like a nursing home. We are looking forward to Spring to enjoy the patio, which is his favorite season. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for a memory care.

My mother lived at Brookdale Sevierville for 2 years. I recently moved her to Dominion Sevierville and I regret this decision every day. She received such good care at Brookdale, but we left because of price. I learned the adage that you get what you pay for is true. My mom is not doing as well at Dominion, but I have made my decision and will stick to it.

My mother lives here and we are very happy with her care. Very caring place. You wouldn't be happy any place else.

Brookdale Sevierville is the Best Assisted Living in the area. All of the staff are kind and caring. The building is somewhat dated but very clean and home like. The residents are cared for as you can see as you walk through the building and it is not unusual to see staff interacting in a very positive way with the residents, you can tell they are loved. My mother lives at Brookdale Sevierville and she is very happy there. I have noticed a great improvement in the atmosphere since the new Director has arrived and I have noticed that the staffing is much better with a group that works well together.

Our experience with Brookdale Tequesta has been a very good one so far. From what I have seen, the community is clean and well-kept, and the staff seems friendly and professional. My loved one has settled in well and they are taking good care of her.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out with Brookdale Fort Myers, they're taking great care of our loved one! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming to Mom. It's a clean, well-kept facility, and they've got a great activities program for memory care residents.

We used Brookdale for respite care for my husband and his experience there was pretty good. He made a circle of friends he enjoyed meals with and really seemed to like the food. One thing that did concern me is the fact that he eats with his fingers since returning home which was a bit concerning and showed me that the staff at the community did not encourage him to use silverware. The community itself is very clean and I will use them again if need be.

My parents are doing wonderful here at Brookdale Grand Prairie: they love it. The community looks amazing and very clean, no problems regarding cleaning. The staff has been great and helpful to my parents. They know them by their names and really get along with them. The food is great and there are great activities for my parents to do. They enjoy bingo and the musical guest that comes and plays music for them. They treat my parents great here, very attentive to them and always checking on them. It has really made a difference in my parents. They are more alert now and seem to be functioning better since the move into the community. It has been a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this community.
