Brookdale

Our experience with Brookdale Pinehurst has been a good one, overall. It's a nice looking place, they've got some fine people working here, and they are taking good care of the residents.

I nothing bad to say about this community they have been wonderful to my parents. My parents have done a complete turn around since moving here they are doing much better and almost to the point where they can come home stronger and better. I am really blessed to have found this community the staff is excellent and very attentive to my parents and their needs. Before my parents moved here they weren't very active but now they participate in activities and that is very nice to see. They love the food the people just everything this is a very warm caring understanding community filled with great people. I would recommend this community to anyone.

This has been a great place for my mother. It has been a positive experience, we are very satified. It is an excellent facility, the staff are friendly and competent and they treat the residents very well. It is not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for. The food is top notch according to my mother. They do exercises. They go on the bus to offsite activities, they have people come in. She enjoys it very much.

Things are going very well for my mother here at Brookdale North Austin. She is really adjusting well with everything and the staff has been nothing helpful with helping her get settled. The community is well kept only issue I have is the landscaping could look better. They are wonderful people here they are very caring and very personable with you and willing to help in any way that they can. There is always something going on for the residents here. They have many activities like bingo and meet and greets and work out classes, it is very nice. My mother loves the food and I also enjoy it. I have already recommended this community to my family, and my grandmother is looking into moving here. Great experience so far for us.

Senior Advisor (A place for Mom) helped us find an assisted living/memory care placement for our 93 year old father. They arranged for the interviews and tours of Facilities to speed up our selection process. We selected one close to our home where we could visit our loved one frequently. We observed only wonderful care during the short time he resided at the home.

They take very good care of my mother. Every employee is kind and helpful. My mother has been there less than one month so she is still adjusting.

Things are going great with Brookdale Durham! The people here are very friendly and a great job looking after the residents. My Dad has shown a lot of improvement since he moved in!!

My father in law is no longer at Brookdale Attleboro, but our time with this community was a great experience we were very happy with everything. I really loved this community the staff was extremely kind and helpful to us. They accommodated all my father in law needs they were just great with him. The facility looks nice and clean very well kept community. I would recommend this community to my family and friends.

Both myself and my husband moved to Brookdale Palm Beach Gardens. We are enjoying every minute! We are healthy and this was a choice we made for ourselves, we didn't want to wait and down the road need someone else to make this kind of choice for us. Everyone here is nice, friendly, we say hello to everyone and talk to everyone. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They take care of everything. They make sure it is clean and keep it clean. We haven't had any problems. The food is good, some not so much, but they have other options, it is healthy food. They have all kinds of activities, something going on all the time. I give it five stars all around, it feels like a luxury hotel!

My mother is doing great at Brookdale Courtyard! It was an adjustment and hard for her to give up her house, but she is doing good. The place is very nice and very clean. It is convenient for us to go and visit. The rooms are nice, the dining room is nice. It's an all around nice place. My mother is content with the food. The community does offer quite a bit of activities. The manager however is not the most friendly, that is the reason for the four rating on friendliness of the staff. I also want to add that my Senior Advisor with A Place For Mom is awesome!

This place was definitely the best fit for our dad. The staff was excellent, the tour was very comprehensive and we were very satisfied that the care provided for dad would be excellent. The person who originally was supposed to give us the tour was not available and so the director stepped in and took the time to answer my many questions about care and price. I am an RN and am not easily persuaded by anyone's words that healthcare services are going to be delivered well or safely. This place has it all, multiple nurses stations, wide hallways, handrails everywhere, elevators, good food (we ate lunch there) and lots of support staff. The place was clean and most importantly the staff genuinely seemed to care about dad, I can't say that about the other four places we visited except perhaps one. I spoke with multiple residents and all of them had nothing but good things to say about this place. Finally, the price, it was more affordable than any of the others and offered more services. It has now been almost three months since dad moved there and he has nothing but good to say about this place. A+ in my book and believe me I am a hard sell.

We were looking for a place for my husband and had scheduled several appointments during the day, just to check them out. Our first appointment was at Brookdale at Belle Meade. When we walk in we were overwhelmed by it's attractive beautiful lobby, but even more by the peace and comfort we felt there. It only got better from then on. It was clean and well cared for in every possible way. The staff were gracious, and, answered all our questions thoughtfully and kindly. Shelia Uselton, is an absolute jewel. We took a tour and each staff member we were introduced to and we met most of them during our visit was head and shoulders above what we had expected to see and meet (we met those individuals at other facilities we visited that day,) outstanding in every way. But the best part was that the clients or residents were well groomed, happy, and engaged in a variety of different activities and were enjoying them. We were blessed and my husband is living at Brookdale now. I could write so much more about what a wonderful experience this has been but the best recommendation I can give sincerely is, that I would be thrilled to move in any day and that gave my family peace about the difficult decision we had to make for his safety and security. This facility is superior in everyway. Go see for yourself.

We're very happy with how things have turned out with Brookdale Muirfield! Whenever we visit the place seems very clean and well kept, and our loved one really has settled in well here. We're completely satisfied!

We are very happy with my mother father's move into Brookdale is has been a wonderful experience. The facility looks spotless very nice looking community. They have been excellent with everything the staff here is great we really enjoy them. The food is great as well my kids even enjoyed the food. It has been a very welcoming place from the residents to the staff everyone is very kind. They develop personal relationship with the residents around there the really like what they do so it more of a life experience a positive one which is great to see.

Brookdale Sunwest is a very nice place and they are still in the process of remodeling so I'm sure it's going to turn out to be a very beautiful place. Until then there are some things that could be cleaned up. As far as the staff and the services, everything has been great. They are all very helpful and responsive. There was a time where my mother in law pulled the cord and the staff came right away which was greatly appreciated. The food is very good and I'm confident that she'll be joining in the many activities they have for the residents!

I visited many communities in search of a friendly, caring, clean, home that was reasonably priced. Brookdale is one of two communities that had all the qualities I looked for. I was deciding between two facilities and the thing that put BD over the top was the personal connection that Dana at BD established with me and the prospective resident of BD. She never knew that BD was high on my list based on other factors such as location, community size, cost, and hospitality. Each time I reached out to Dana, she was just as receptive and helpful as if I had already committed to BD. She always responded immediately too. Some places don't call back for days. After choosing BD and upon moving my friend in, we met Nurse Maggie. What a great team. This type of move is not an easy one, but Dana and Maggie went the extra mile to help make it an easier transition for our unusual circumstances. In the days that have followed, I have met other staff that are just as friendly and seem genuinely happy to be on staff. The residents have also been welcoming and happy to be living at Brookdale. There's a mix of independent residents as well as assisted living residents. The atmosphere is happy, peaceful, and clean. A definite plus is the close proximity to the quaint downtown area. There is a lot to do within a short walk away. For everything else, there's the free shuttle. I'm so glad we found Brookdale through Jennifer from "A Place for Mom." Thank you, Jennifer! Everything is going okay with my mother in law and she is still adjusting to the community and the move. She is getting better day by day, and the staff has been nothing but helpful to her. The community looks really nice and clean no concerns there. Overall it is a nice place with a great staff we are very with everything.

Great place great folks. One of our top choices. Ultimately the reason we chose another facility was location and convenience for family and friends.

Due to the type of care my father needed now we had to move him to Brookdale Hollywood Park and so far I really like it a lot. The location of the community is great it is really close to everything and close to me and that was important to me to be close to my father just in cause anything happened. It feels very homey here and its not a huge community it's small and more intimate for the residents. The staff and nurse are just great they have answered all me questions and concerns in a quick manner. The residents here are very sweet and the staff is always trying to come up with ways to entertain them in fun ways. You would expect the food to has good as it is here it's delicious and smells great. I wouldn't been able to do all this with out the help from A Place For Mom.

My Dad just moved into Brookdale Canopy Oaks not that long ago and so far its been really good. He seems to be really happy there and I know he's in good hands. They take the residents out on rides around town and keep them entertained. Dad enjoys the food and all in all its been a good experience.
