One thing that I left out before that I think is really important is that there are a couple of nurses and some really good med tech staff. They have kept on top of all my mom's medical needs. Anything we've expressed to them as a concern, they've made sure to follow up on. My mom had an awful doctor and they are helping us move along the process of finding a new one. They call us and let us know before she runs out of something. To me, that means the world because it really shows that they're paying attention to what she needs and alerting us so that she's not at a loss. It makes it a lot easier for us to do our part. They're highly responsive. They know what to look for and that means that they know what they're doing. We really love this place!

I really love the place. Something special is always going on everyday. Very relaxad atmosphere. The staff is great. I love the dining facilities. It is like your going to a regular restrauant. They look like regular waiters and waitress taking your order of what you want to eat. the food is very well prepared and tasted great. My father really likes it there. Private rooms and you can decorate them however you like and pets are welcomed. I would love to live there myself. If you need help each resident wears a call button around their neck. Just like everywhere else they need more staff. I really feel sorry for the staff as they are really busy, but they manage. Its to bad the gov't dosen't fund these places more. It is a beautiful place inside and out. My dad says he likes it there and he is a very picky man.

Wish they had a little more exercising but I think they do what they can for the type of residents they have. It is a secure community and really gives me peace of mind that our loved one is safe and will not be wandering off. The atmosphere is very home like and our loved one is comfortable here. Our loved one has not asked us to take them out of the community to go home. They have semi private and private rooms. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They seems like they actually want to help. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

We chose Emeritus because it was located very conveniently for my family. They had a lot to offer especially for the price. They offered exactly what we needed and were looking for. It is a very nice and pretty community. They take very good care of the residents and the staff is very friendly. We are very pleased with Emeritus and would recommend them to anyone.

My mom is really happy there. I've not had any problems whatsoever! The activites are great. She seems like she's tuckered out by the end of the day. They seem to be testing her, you know, not letting her sit around on a stump and sleep all day. It's been a wonderful, wonderful experience!

We are very happy with Sterling House our loved one is really happy here. We are very glad with picked this community. It is a smaller community so we felt it would provide more socialization. The staff and residents are really friendly. The residents seemed to be really happy. The community is really beautiful it have a nice courtyard to sit and relax. Everything has just been going fine. We would recommend them to anyone.

There are several reasons we chose Windsor Place for our loved one. First would be the location, then the size of the facility it's not big but it is comfortable. They have nice size rooms for the residents and the cost is reasonable. The appearance of the building itself is also very nice. We toured about three or four other facilities but chose Windsor Place for the reasons listed above. We would recommend Windsor Place to others who are looking.

Wonderful, but beyond our budget

Beautiful, well kept, sparkling clean and friendly. I was greeted by everyone I passed, including residents. The sales manager was properly dressed in a long-sleeve shirt and tie. Knowledgeable and outgoing. The room was well done.

They have a waiting list. The community is clean and the staff is friendly. It is a newer community. The community itself is very beautiful. The rooms are larger then other comparable communities. We would have liked to move in here but we needed something immediately.

The community is not located very close to our family but we really needed something immediately. They worked really hard to keep the price within budget for us. They have really been doing a great job for us. The grounds around it really stood out when we visited. There were deer that were gracing and a few cotton tail bunnies. At one point a flock of wind turkey was on the community grounds as well. There were residents walking around that you could tell they really enjoyed it. The food is very well prepared and very appealing.

My dad has been there for 2 days. I would give them a 5+ for friendliness if I could. We chose them because the have the memory care and my dad has Alzheimers so we know he'll be needing that. Sandra Williams at the Wellington has just been awesome and it's in the center of the three kids so it felt like a perfect fit. They have exercise, singing, lunch bunches. They have therapy but my dad is not needing it just yet, or maybe ever. We can come and go as we please and friends can come and pick him up.

(Activities Not Rated) We chose it because A Place for Mom and a social worker at the hospital recommended it. Our loved one has been thrilled here. The people are very nice and to us it seemed like there was a lot of good Christian people. To our loved one it seems like a good Christian community.

Just by other things that I've been told, they're a good place. Grounds and building are well-kept. They're great. They have several different levels of care available, and are well able to take care of my mother's needs. There's tons of stuff, and my mom is real active. 5 of 5

We looked at a couple of different communities and Merrill Gardens was just the one he felt the most comfortable in. It just seemed like the right fit for him. The staff is great and very helpful. Every time we call with questions they do not hesitate to provide us with an answer. After we selected the community we have had several people approach us and tell us how good of a choice we made. We are very pleased with it so far and would recommend it to anyone.

Monet was very helpful. She even recommended the sister facility that was closer to our home and smaller facility which what Mom is wanting.

Visited, was very impressed. Will probably use when the time comes that home care is not enough.

The entire staff here is really friendly and helpful they really impressed me. When I visited I spoke with residents and asked them if they liked it and they all said "Oh Yeah!" There is always something going on they have activities everyday. They have bingo, cards, dominoes, and even Wii. The food was also good when I visited. The landscaping is very nice and the community backs up to the river. I was so impressed with them that I didn't even bother visiting other communities.

Great facility. Feel like it might be the best fit because of the ability to move from independent to assisted and so on on the same campus. Cynthia was great! Price is an issue.

(Activities Not Rated) Emeritus is a one level community it is all ground level. It is a smaller community. The location was fairly close to our home. We really liked the atmosphere here. It is just more open then other communities. The halls seem wider and the residents seemed to be out and about. There seems to be more socialization then other communities. It seems like a very good place to be.
