Brookdale

We chose Brookdale Clinton because it was recommended to us and we called and they have availability immediately. The gal that came out and helped was outstanding. She got things done quickly and as they needed to be. The room sizes were excellent, my husband had a private room. You cannot find better food anywhere, it was wonderful. The chef really cared about pleasing the residents. They made it as homey as humanly possible. I would absolutely recommend this community.

Brookdale Farmington Hills North is a wonderful place for my mom. The staff is very friendly and caring. The activities helped my mom thrive. The entertainment and parties were so much fun until Covid came. Hopefully it will be back to normal. The staff still manages to keep spirits uplifted with the residents .My family highly recommends this facility for your loved ones.

I would tell my friends to check it out. I wouldn't say anything bad, I would rather tell them to go around to a different nursing homes to choose for themselves. I believe it had to do with the ladies I spoke with at the community. I felt comfortable about the way they told me about the community.

They have exercises for the residences, book clubs, they even have a cocktail hour. On special occasions they will give the residences small gifts. They do have a swimming pool but it isn't open at the moment. The food right now is being delivered to our rooms due to COVID, but under the circumstances it is okay. The rooms are pretty spacious, we have a two bedroom. This community has a variety of rooms to choose from.

I would say go for it. They have been really good for us. Anytime we have called they are willing to answer our questions. I'm unsure of any activities they offer. We have a small, single room. It depends how much you want to pay. My loved one was in a larger room, and we had to downsize because of the price increase.

My mom is in memory care. It is a great place. As for the food they need more fruits and vegetables and fewer fats. They need more help to manage the residents. The room size is adequate. The halls are long. It takes a great effort to get through o the staff. We are glad that my mom is there it is nice that she can have her own belonging there in her room. We love the activities director. We like the special care that the caregivers give to the residents.

In late March, as COVID-19 was ramping up, I was faced with choosing an ALF for my 90 year old father. With wonderful assistance from A Place for Mom, was able to find Brookdale Wekiwa Springs. I was not able to tour in person, but [name removed], the administrator, took me on a FaceTime tour and answered all my questions. The transition has not been easy because of no visiting due to the virus, but because the staff are so helpful and caring, it has been much easier. Even though I cannot see him, I know that he is being well cared for and the staff treat him with kindness and dignity. They are helpful and supportive and I am happy with my choice of facilities and would highly recommend it!

My mother said everybody at Brookdale was real nice and the food was good. She said the girl that gave her a bath was real sweet and she liked everybody and they were all nice to her.

During this time of COVID, Brookdale has done their best, have gone above and beyond to keep the residents the connected to their families and safe. They have never had a COVID case. We chose this community because of affordability, my dad likes the area, and we have family there. The food is good, they offer a variety in restaurant style dining. I would absolutely recommend this community to other families. My dad is happy and in his owns words" he is home".

It is a very nice facility. My mom is in the memory care and she is happy there. The caregivers are very nice and we know them well. We chose community because it was nice, it was affordable, and it is close to our family, We feel very fortunate that we were able to get moved our mom into this community. I would definitely recommend this community to other families.

They are doing a good job with the Covid -19. They have window visits you can set up to see your loved ones. The food is fine. They don't have showers in the rooms. But I understand that they usually need help to shower so maybe that is not that big of a deal as I thought. They have a lot of nice common areas in and out of the building to spend time with your loved one.

Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the way you kept all residents and caregivers safe and healthy throughout this Coronavirus pandemic. Samantha and her amazing team took great care to keep residents connected with their families during an extremely difficult time. Families received daily email updates regarding procedures for closure, information about daily intensified cleaning, ways to continue to connect with loved ones (ie. “window visits”, phone calls, Zoom calls…). Families also received emails several times each week that included photos and videos of their loved ones, as well as uplifting messages from the staff. Because of their diligence, when the entire facility was tested for COVID 19, there were 0 positive cases for both residents, as well as caregivers!!! We can not thank Brookdale enough for the phenomenal work from the administration and the caregivers!! The [name removed] Family

They seemed to keep the community clean and I never noticed any areas that were not well maintained. The staff was always very nice to my mother. The care was also very good as were the activities. Compared to other communities in the area, they were definitely worth the price.

Nice upgrades but always room for improvement.

Brookdale Grand Blanc is very affordable. The staff is nice. The food is good.They have a chef and he does a good job. The room sizes are adequate but there is not a lot of room for visitors. The layout of the community is okay.

It is worth checking out. I would recommend Brookdale Lafayette. Room sizes were okay and the layout was good. The staff was very friendly. My mother was only at Brookdale Lafayette a very short period of time.

This community is great , good food and great activities.

Overall I would strongly recommend this facility over other facilities because of the cleanliness, the staff, and the maintenance on the facility.

The Brookdale Edmond Danforth branch has been truly outstanding in caring for my parents. [Name removed] the branch director runs a solid tight ship making sure all residents are personally taken care of. It gave me peace of mind while living in Florida that everything was alright and didn't have to worry. Thank You Brookdale and caring staff

The staff were great. The move in process was so easy. The executive director was helpful, and took care of everything. The wellness coordinator was absolutely fantastic with my dad's assessment and she remembered him which was meaningful to me. There were always activities going on every time I was there. My dad really liked the care staff, and prior to living there, he didn't like many people. My dad was a very picky eater, and the dining staff work hard to offer him choices and accommodate his requests.
