So far the staff have been easy to work with. The activities are very good. They've been good about working with us to get the apartment straightened around. And the care has been pretty good. Although they have some interesting practices - for instance, having three CNAs come to get our loved one ready for bed when usually only one is doing anything and the others are just standing there.

We toured Kokomo Place and it was fine. The only reason my mom did not move here, is because her space in the community we chose was larger.

I appreciate how friendly everybody is. Most of the time the care is okay. Getting my loved one to keep the fall detector lanyard on her neck has been a challenge, but that's not on them. They have a back patio, and I think they're going to be having a garden. And the inside is pretty nice.

excellent! anybody with a loved one in need, Brookdale South Bend is very good. they offer outside activities, physical therapy exercise class, movie day, and entertainment that comes in once a month. the food has good variety and flavor. they do accept pets, and they're very friendly with their weight policy for dogs. I've seen a resident with a 35lb dog there. as with anywhere else, they are having an issue with adequate staff, but they seem to handle it well. they've been improving overall over the last few months. [name removed], the administrator, does a nice job and she's continuing getting better people in here - as far as medical and staffing. I would recommend to others; Brookdale is better than what we expected. they are a small enough facility to where they do care and the staff seems to be into quality care of their clientele.

We were sad that my mom could not live at home anymore, but our experience at Trail Creek Place was excellent. All the nurses loved my mom, and she loved getting her hair and nails done. She loved being served her meals restaurant - style. Even though she was in a wheel chair, she enjoyed 'walking' herself around the halls and visiting with everyone. The experience was excellent all the way around. We loved the homey environment, and the whole family enjoyed spending time with her there.

Our family had an in person tour and we were so impressed with the staff that greeted us and showed us around. It was a high top contender, but there was just a few more extra amenities that another community had that this one did not. Other than that it was a great experience.

Great tour but they didn't have a memory care unit like we needed.

The lady during our interview process was so helpful, and explained everything so clear to us. She really made us feel comfortable. The care given to our loved one during their stay was wonderful, they did such a good job,

The staff members are wonderful and have continued to be so attentive to our loved ones needs. It is like a big family, every time we come to visit they are just very sweet and calm to the residents. Our loved one being the picky eater he is, actually really enjoys the meals and dining service and if there is ever anything he does not like they will substitute it out. He is very happy there, and the staff are just exemplary and professional.

We chose Grand Emerald place because they were the most friendly and they had the most homey feel. The staff here are very caring towards the residents and always want to make sure everyone is happy and well taken care of. I would recommend to others looking.

It's a close knit group. It's not so big that you're just a number. It's more of a friendly and homey environment. The staff have been great. I haven't had any problems at all. I'd recommend the facility to anyone. It's expensive, but a better cost than I found anywhere else.

I chose Brookdale South Bend because I was impressed by the way I was approached when I went here to tour. The people who answered my questions were very professional and thorough. I had confidence when I walked out that this was the place I wanted to send him to. The rooms here are private, it was very adequate for his needs. The meals were great and the portions were perfect size. Overall it was a great place to go, if I ever need it for myself I would go here with no question.

The community has a full-time nurse their Mon-Fri and has other medical professions available also. The staff has family in the facility also, I also would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

It is a beautiful community. The staff take care of the residents, and are great here. They keep the residents busy with activities. They have brain teasers, games, bingo, corn hole, and more for the residents to choose from. The communication with the staff is great. They are responsive to changes and requests. They have a new director in place. My loved one really likes the food.

The tour that we had with Brookdale South Bend was great. I really liked that everything was arranged for us and everything was good to go when we showed up.

The staff is amazing and has been really helpful and friendly. The community has lots of activities and they get to go out to a park and enjoy the weather. The community took great care of him and has helped him recover and he is doing better than he has in years. I would recommend this community to others

I visited this community while searching for a place for my mother in law. The other residents were well dressed and were smiling and looked happy. There was a resident that was playing the piano, some residents were enjoying that. This place was clean and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The cozy community is where I want my mom to be.

The community is small enough our loved one gets the attention she needs. The staff is very friendly and caring and has done a great job taking care of our loved ones. I would definitely recommend this community to others

The community is very good at caring for our loved one. They make her feel welcomed. They are allowing virtual visits with loved ones as well.
