Sunlit Gardens is great. It's clean and they are friendly. There are no surprises, what you see on the tour is what you get. One of the reasons I went with Sunlit Gardens is that they were the least aggressive when it came to sales and getting us in. That and of course we really liked it.

It's a very clean and nice looking place, and the memory care they provide is good. My only complaint is that they do not have 24 hour nursing staff. They do have nurses on call at all times, but based on the type of care they provide here I really wish they'd have someone on the premises at all times.

When we did our tour of the facility I was impressed that our guide knew every resident by name. She chatted with each senior and you could tell they all felt comfortable with each other. Our impression was this facility, although not the fanciest, felt the most home like.

We chose this community for the surrounding environment. It has plenty of trees and greenery. It has a very country atmosphere to it and really makes it relaxing. The staff is really friendly and truly cares about their residents. The staff always seems happy and they are always willing to be accommodating. The price is a great value for what you get. We are very happy with Sunshine and the care they are providing.

Met with director today. Impressed by her. Seemed very clean, grounds were nice, needed to mow the lawn in some areas, lots of plants,7 buildings,2 buildings for more dependent patients (not dad), 5 ranch style homes have 6 residents living there more independent with a "caregiver"- non nurse that lives in house, but 24/7 ER care if needed. Large kitchen/dining area with family room, community tv/internet. Can get internet in their rooms. On site: salon, MDs can see patients. Families welcomed anytime.

I understand this is a good place for Alhzheimer's care. Not ready yet.

I really liked this location. The staff was very nice. We also met several residents and they all said they love living there.

This place wasn't as nice but was very clean and had no urine smell at all. The worker's were very helpful and director gave us a perfect tour of the facility and knew every resident we encountered by name.

Clean, with nice group areas. Smaller so can know everybody but big enough not to feel 'stuck'.

It wasn't as warm and inviting as Silverado but the people seemed very attentive.

The place is nice, I like it. The concerns were with the response times, when she calls it isn't as quick as we would like. It's been an ongoing issue, and there is always an excuse, something about the pagers, usually. I will say though, that when I bring it to their attention they are right on it, coming up with solutions. 9 out of 10 caregivers are pretty good, but the ratio is only 1 for every 9 residents. The food isn't bad, but I am sure it's better other places, and they don't have green salad, just a lot of other vegetables.

The place change hands recently. The food is not that good. The day my sister moved in, they fired everybody. That was running the place and no one welcomed her. No one gave us any information and we still have no information. They don't give toilet paper to the rooms, but two rolls a week. And they didn't tell us about that we just recently, learned it, we have to bring the paper, and then they steal it. The med techs lie, i also think that the nurse lies. She's new. I's just a real mess there. My sister's room is on the street of Gonzalez road. In its very noisy at night. She can't sleep and her thermostat doesn't work right. She's asked for it to be fixed many times the room is either too hot or too cold. The prices are not bad but I have the feeling with the new owners. They'll probably go up. But there's not very many amenities there. They're moving in deposits are extremely high. So it makes it to where a person, if they don't like it. There cannot move because they loss that money. And they would have to pay it again at another assisted living home, which would cost more. All in all, it's very hard for a person to get help. Because it's so expensive, no matter if you do it at assisted, living or if you live in your home and have someone come and help you, which costs even more. It's pretty sad

I would recommend Crescendo. The only issue we had was the cost for one week & a small hiccup in the medication dispense

The food was hyped up as restaurant quality when we checked out the place, but it is pretty bland. Short-staffed. It takes forever for maintenance. Yesterday, it took almost two hours to get some toilet paper. I decided to go out to the supermarket to get the toilet paper myself. When I got back, the resident just got the toilet paper. There should be rolls put in the bathroom when the room is cleaned. I spoke to one of the Directors about staff entering the resident's room. The maintenance guy didn't even knock and wait for a response on the female resident's door. Nor did he ring the bell. He put his card in, and went in the room, surprising the resident who was in the hallway. She had just gotten out of the bathroom. It thoroughly startled her and threw her off. Because we have a Ring camera installed in the room, I was able to capture the incident and report it. The resident moved in on [date removed]. Her name plate is still not next to her door. They keep telling me it's in process. Everything is in process. I spoke to another resident and asked her how she liked the place. She said it was ok, but it took a long time for "stuff to happen once you request it". I concur. The Internet systems are unstable. They need to have cameras outside since the gate remains open. Staff are pleasant. I think they are understaffed in certain areas. The management is adequately staffed, but not the other departments. [name removed], one of the laundry staff, is amazing! The rooms are pretty nice. The grounds are well maintained. They need more parking.

The people are nice but the management is an issue. Staff constant leaving for other facilities that pay them better and give them more hours. New staff come in and they are not skilled. They don't know how to take care of the elderly. It's so unfortunate. At the moment, I would not recommend this community to others.

My mom's toilet was very clean. My mom had an accident someone changed her . I found a wet shoe in her room. Didn't think much about it . Until I used her bathroom . I didn't see the giant puddle in there until I had gone in and tracked it back into my mom's room . I told the staff . They came in with a sheet to mop it up. This was a puddle of pee. They didn't use and disinfectant or anything. Inside of toilet had scum ring in it . Look like it has been a month since it was last scrubbed. I don't blame the workers they were busy. But the could have had a janitor or someone that dealt with these things

Staff is super friendly. Clean facilities. Lots of staffing turnover They need better transport. They say they have it but they don't I would recommend the facility depending on the patient. Older and kind of out of it, yes. Young and still in sound mind, then no
