Novel Place is a wonderful place to live, and I will highly recommend to anyone. All staff-including office, culinary, maintenance, and housekeeping-have been very caring and attentive to the needs of all the residents. The atmosphere here is friendly and happy, and my time of living here has been most enjoyable. {names removed} I am so grateful to you for all your kindness and helpfulness.

I've been here since Novel Place in Blue Springs opened. There were twelve residents, but we were treated like family. Our experience started during COVID-19, every precaution was taken to keep us safe and still give us the time and opportunity to meet and be together. As our community has grown to what it is today we have even more activities to participate in. Of course you can stay in your apartment, but many opportunities are missed. Sitting by the fireplace, in front or the outside fire pit. It's amazing how many residents accumulate. There is a wide variety of activities such as exercise, crafts, outings. Then there's the fun and laughter at breakfast and dinner. Being at Novel Place is my home. I have more friends and family than before I moved here. I highly recommend Novel Place.

My mom moved in here and she is thriving! She loves it! She gets to go on the bus and go to different outings and just loves the food! Such a great place! The staff are very nice! They have wonderful court yards!

I can’t even begin to explain how wonderful Novel Place is for my mother. She has lived there since it opened, and it has been a welcoming and fun place that she calls home. This is such a clean and beautiful apartment home, and I think all the employees there do so much to keep up the integrity of this building. She has met so many people, and calls so many of them her best friends. From eating dinners together, to bingo and domino games, going on dining trips, and ending days around the fire pit, this has expanded her heart and life in so many ways.

Harbor Chase of Long Grove surpassed all my expectations with its exceptional care and welcoming atmosphere. The staff's warm smiles and genuine concern instantly made me feel at home. Their outstanding facilities combine spaciousness and comfort with functional design. What sets Harbor Chase of Long Grove apart is their commitment to personalized services and activities. They offer a diverse range of programs, from wellness classes to recreational activities, ensuring each resident can thrive and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle. The dining experience is delightful, with a menu that caters to diverse dietary needs and preferences. The chefs create flavorful and visually appealing meals, fostering socialization and meaningful connections in communal dining areas. The administration is highly professional and attentive, working closely with residents and families to ensure personalized care plans and a strong sense of community.

The amenities were a huge plus for my wife and I. I really enjoy the library as I am an avid reader, lots to choose from. Also my wife really enjoys the gardening area as well. Makes her feel as she is doing something for herself as well as the community as a whole.

One of the reasons we moved here was for all the amenities which include the actives. So may to chose from, as we need to keep busy at our ages. The gardening is so special to me as I did that at our old home and was going to miss that tremendously.

I and my sisters toured the facility recently as we looked for the extra help we are going to need for our mother. This facility was beautiful. Incredibly clean and bright and cheerful. The staff we met with were kind and loved what they do. We spoke to other family members of residents as we were leaving and they were so happy with care that their loved one receives. We are so happy that your facility was recommended to us and are so grateful for all the help moving forward and getting everything in order. Thank you to the staff for answering our 100 questions.

The staff and residents have been amazing and so kind and loving. The facility is awesome...clean and easy to get around. Overall we are happy with Novel Place and would recommend it to others looking.

sales did an amazing job showing us around the community. Answer all our questions and enjoyed meeting the other directors. Meeting other residents was a plus!

I toured here with the sales director and it was so so nice! I thought it was a 5 star hotel when I walked in there! Too bad my mom took a turn for the worst and past away. I would highly recommend!!!!

I am very happy here at Novel Place! It has been wonderful transitional housing for me after returning to my Kansas City birthplace after many years. I love my neighbors, and the staff and management are very responsive to my concerns. With the interior entrances, I can live my entire life inside, which was wonderful during the winter. I feel very safe here. I especially enjoy the exercise classes. Great job, Novel Place!

I really care about all the Directors in every department! I love the location of my apartment and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere within the community! I’m near the beautiful library which is so cozy. I feel I live in a close knit neighborhood…so friendly!

I enjoy Novel Place very much! I do many activities- exercise classes, card games, book club - There’s a great variety! I enjoy the residents very much and the food too. The staff is wonderful and always helpful.

Novel Place is very convenient, there is the van service to get us places, Price Chopper next door and they fix dinner and breakfast for us. So many conveniences. I love shopping with the group when they go too. The people here are wonderful and love the conversations throughout each day. A wonderful place to live.

I like that we have music here at Novel Place. They usually play music that we all love from our time. I played bingo for the first time today and had a really good time. I wish I would've started playing a long time ago. We have a library on the 2nd floor and I love to sit up there and read.

I like the food but not all of it. The cleaning staff is amazing as well. They do a great job at keeping our apartments tidy. We have the puzzles on the 2nd floor which I love to enjoy. We also go out to experience things in Kansas City as well. I love that Price Chopper is just a quick walk away too.

Here at Novel Place I love the food, the friendly atmosphere. It is easy to socialize with everyone no matter where you go here. You will find if it is with the social events or the dining hall you will find a friend.

I am very satisfied with the community. This is a very positive atmosphere at Novel Place. I love the architecture here as well. I keep busy and love that Price Chopper is so close to Novel Place. I walk over there all the time.

This is a place that is very welcoming to who comes here. The residents do a very good job at helping new people. We have an excellent staff that most of the time goes above and beyond. The food here is wonderful and they try to accommodate us with all our different diets.
