My father has been in this facility about 6 weeks now and is doing well. Staff is extremely helpful and caring. Our questions and concerns are taken care of when any arise. This place is much better than the one he had been in before.

I absolutely love and am so happy with the Sunshine Care Assisted Living and Memory Care. The staff has gone above and beyond they will call and send me pictures of my mother when I am not able to visit. When I was on vacation my mother had to be hospitalized and one of the nurses went with her and stayed with her until the family got to the hospital. They truly have the biggest hearts and I can't say enough good things about them. I highly recommend this place!

The facility has no limitations.We are very happy with this choice. We needed something that would meet my mother's requirements and they have. She isn't participating in many activities because she is a dementia patient but I am comfortable with the care she's getting. We chose this community because of the location. It one of the only communities in the area that offers individualized suites. She needed a private bathroom in her room and they offer that.

My mother in law is doing well at the Sunlit Gardens. Everyone there is so nice and pleasant. The place is clean and so is her room. They keep her and the other residents nice and clean as well. We feel that we made a good choice.

This is a great community. My mom is so happy and making small improvements from everyone who is extremely helpful. She loves her room. They make sure that all of her needs are taken care of.The variety of great meals is outstanding. The activities are a great help her. We would not be happier with the care that my mom is getting her and recommend everyone to see this great care and value for a loved one.

I wish we had found this place in Oct. I feel it would have saved us from several problems.My family and I are very pleased with selection.

First tour and I knew this was perfect for my mother. She has been there for less than a month and seems happy. Only draw back is it is very expensive and do not know how long she can stay.

I toured the facility last week. I just walked in without scheduling an appointment so I was able to get a good sense of how Valley Crest operates without prior notice of a potential move in. I was pleasantly surprised how welcome I was right from the start. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming. At that very moment she was speaking to a confused person who I could tell was one of the people that lived there. The way that she didn't disregard what they were saying, yet welcomed me in at the same time, was quite remarkable. She then let [Removed] know that I was waiting for a tour. At the time [Removed] was in her office with someone else, but the way the receptionist and several others kept me busy and talking while I waited was very pleasing. I could tell that the patients were all busy doing one thing or another. I expected with this being a memory care facility, I would find people stereo-typically drooling in their chairs and staring at the wall. I was impressed that I found the opposite. The patients were busy and all seemed very well cared for. The smell was very pleasing. The facility is rather small but quaint. The rooms are simple, but clean and maintained. We as a family have decided not to place my family member just yet, but when we do, we will be choosing Valley Crest.

My mom has been a resident here for several years. The Valley Crest staff has become part of our family. Everyone from the front office staff to the kitchen staff knows my mom and they know things that settle her down and also soothe her when she's having a bad day. I do wish they had more activities for the residents. They do have entertainment quite often but when there is day when there isn't any it seems like they could be putting in a little more effort to find new and fun things for them to do. Valley Crest will always have a special place in my heart. It really does feel like a home to us.

My brother is doing well since moving into this community. The staff are pleasant with everyone and there is a prompt response time. I have never heard any negativity in this community. He has no complaints about the homemade food and says the apple pie is awesome. They offer free local transportation and family is invited to join them on outings. This was the right decision for our family and I would recommend this clean great community.

My mother was placed in Meridian Gardens after she started experiencing dementia from the effects of late stage terminal cancer. Although she was only there for 13 days before she passed, I found every staff member to be extremely caring, compassionate, and professional towards my mother. They treated my sister and I so kindly, always asking us if we needed anything, would bring us water, coffee, light snacks etc. I really feel like they are family now and will miss seeing them on a regular basis. They are truly angels on earth. I don't know what we would have done without them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone at Meridian Gardens

Very informative staff. Pricing is out of our financial limits. They offer a good program for those with memory difficulties

We bring my Mom here for respite care. Wish we could afford for her to stay full time. The times we come the place is always clean. Everyone is attentive to the care of their residents. Very kind and compassionate people. There are always activities that Mom enjoys. She didn't want to go at first and now she asks me when she can go! You won't be sorry to entrust the care of your loved one to this facility!

This was a great community that we toured. I is a place that anyone would want to reside in. The meals were wonderful with a great chief. The staff was excellent and careing and answered all of my questions. I would of been happy to have my sister here, but they did not have the type of room that my sister was wanting at that time.

It is a beautiful community. The courtyard and private little studios are very nice. All the staff is very friendly and seem to care about the residents. Every time I have been there, there has been an activity going on for the residents that want to participate. I am happy with the decision we have made to move my mom to meridian gardens of riverside.

I am writing this review in regards to my personal experience with Meridian Gardens of Riverside. My father in law has been a resident for the last few years as his dementia had accelerated . He has recently passed and I am so thankful for the last few years with our Dad and for his time there. This facility was like a family, the staff there treat their residents with such love and care :-) .We had so many great memories and had so many great times together there with Dad. ALL staff, from administration down were caring and friendly and made us feel that our Dad was loved . As Dad's disease progressed he became a bit of a handful at times and needed more understanding and patience and this was definitely seen at Meridian . I would highly recommend it for families looking into this type of care for their loved one. As Dad began his decline and began to slip away this facility went above and beyond for our entire family. We were given such freedom to be with our Dad day and night . The staff was so accomadating and so kind to all of us and we could surely see the love they had for him . I will cherish those moments when I saw the staff so concerned and sad to see our Dad passing away. We could not have been taken care of any better in my opinion! We were blessed to have our Dad at Meridian Gardens. My husband and I will continue to visit there with residents and staff because they have become like family to us. What a huge blessing for our family, thank you from the bottom of my heart . God bless your service to these precious residents that are battling this terrible disease. We will never forget what you did for the Meeks Family.

The daily activities at this community are stimulating. They keep the community clean. The food tastes good and they meet individual dietary needs. I would recommend this community. The staff is caring, answer our questions and are receptive to our comments.

I have no issues with the community, they keep it clean and provide things to do. The staff are friendly and attentive to my mom. Mom is not a social person but she has made a few friends here. I think the food tastes all good but my mom thinks it is sometimes good. We like this place and have already mentioned this place to others.

My father is doing well at this community. This is a wonderful community. They are caring for him very well. They have a great staff, they have been great to work with. It is a very good place for him to be. I would recommend this community to my friends and family.
