I was able to take a tour of this lovely community. I did like what I saw through out the place. I can imagine the residents are happy too. I had notice the residents were being transported around by mini-vehicles to such things like activities. I felt this could confuse my mom. Overall the tour went good but I did not choose this community based on the price. It did not fit my budget.

Mom is almost 92 with dementia. We hesitated choosing a place until things became too difficult for us and there were no more options., We chose Sunshine. We loved the unique environment that's more like a large loving home with friends, than an institutional setting that sterile and cold. It's warm and inviting and Mom is so happy there, has less anxiety and her blood pressure is lower than it has been in 30 years. Mom doesn't feel like a number, or an old person without feelings. She knows she's loved by family and she continues to feel loved and cared for at Sunshine. The staff is wonderful and they truly enjoy their work. They are upbeat, kind, patient and compassionate. Their expertise is invaluable for families who acknowledge their limitations caring for a loved one with dementia. The facility is nestled among pine trees and surrounded by beautiful gardens. There are activities that Mom not only enjoys, but those that help her feel productive and proud. She feels respected and even appreciated for just being there and being herself. She is well-cared for. The in-house visiting doctor is wonderful and we know Mom is in good hands. We always feel welcome and are so thankful to have found Sunshine Care.

I would like to let you know how impressed I was with your Valley Crest Memory Care facility in Apple Valley, CA. I provided home health occupational therapy services to a resident at Valley Crest for three weeks recently. I was there at different times, including during a couple of meals. I observed interactions with the residents by caregivers, nursing staff, the Activity Director, and dining room staff. I was helped by staff at the front desk and felt welcomed. I became progressively impressed with the overall facility and staff and wanted to let you know the quality care and caring I observed. As a result of many years of clinical experience, I almost unconsciously noted the ’personality’ of the facility - the calming environment and level of stimuli provided, the tone and respect given the residents, the desire to help as needed without a condescending attitude, the always positive and quick response to my asking for towels or toothpaste or how they did things. Every single person I had contact with left me with the impression that the residents and their needs were their top priority. I have nothing but the highest complements for everyone at Valley Crest Memory Care. These days I’ve become aware of the need to plan for all contingencies, including Alzheimer’s and long term placement needs. Valley Crest is the standard I will tell my family to use if placement decisions are needed.

Care persons are excellent. They are always checking on their client. Hilda is great. Location is close by too. Good variety of food. Hairdresser, Susan, will come to the room to wash, cut, & style your hair if you are bed bound. Inner courtyard gives people something quiet and peaceful to look at. Mom asked, "Why didn't I come here sooner?"

We went to tour this community when considering moving my Dad into assisted living. This place is by far the nicest place in the area and was our top pick. The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly. One thing you'll notice is how happy and well cared for the residents are. If it came down to it we would have moved Dad there but decided to keep him home instead.

I visited Meridian and I like that it is a small facility, Richard was very friendly and understood what I was looking for. I am still looking, they are #1 on my list right now.

They keep it busy. My mom is 93 and dances there!

Their costumer service at Sunlit Gardens was extremely good. The quickness of getting the patient placed in Sunlit Gardens was excellent. The whole process was quick and easy. The staff are constantly giving us feedback and they are so friendly at this facility.

We are very happy with them so far. They were more reasonable with the price, and they were very straight forward with what would be an extra charge, and how the pricing worked. I found that when I asked questions at other places, the prices would change and I couldn't get a straight answer, that was not the case here.

Wonderful caring and cheerful people that work here. so caring and patient! I felt my Father was in good hands when we decided to have him stay here and enjoy seeing everyone when I visit. Sunlit is very clean and I don't see any of the residence left alone as they keep them busy doing fun projects and activities.

I placed my Mother into this facility over a year ago and am very pleased with how well her overall health and wellbeing has greatly improved. She had suffered a stroke and the previous facilities she used to be in made very little effort to help improve her quality of life. Since being placed here, her blood sugar has stabilized (diabetic type 2) and has never needed injections, her blood pressure is back to normal (used to be hypertensive), and the caregivers have provided very good care and attention to her specific needs. I could not be happier and am very blessed to have found this wonderful place.

It a amazing place and couldn't have been a better place for my dad. My dad was more happy being here than being at home. It is definitely worth the time and putting your loved in it. I wouldn't be happier with anything help else. I cant say enough great things about it.

We placed our mother at Pacifica after a terrible fall at the other home she had been residing at. The care and the support received was outstanding. When my mother was placed there she was placed with Hospice to follow as she was not expected to live much longer due to internal bleeding and her medical condition. Pacifica staff were very supportive to me during this difficult time and went out of their way to accommodate family visits no matter what time of the day it was. If I had known more about the level of care and support as well as the flat rate cost I would have place my mother there at the beginning.the place that I place her at to start with was a very nice place and provided good care but the cost for her stay continued to go up over the year and a half that she had resided there due to the level of care she required. I would say Pacifica is where I want to be pakce if and when the time comes that I need that level of care. Great job Pacifica staff.

To Management team and Meridian Gardens Staff, On behalf of my father W.C we wanted to express our heartfelt and sincere appreciation for the care you provided him while living in your community. You always ensured it felt like HOME for Dad and were always so friendly to us on our visit. We could not have asked for more in the way he was always treated with compassion and respect. In Particular how the team went out of their way to make sure the family was comfortable during Dad's final days while we were sitting with him. We could not have been luckier to have you in our lives and caring for Dad. You definitely do God's work!

My name is Patty, my dad is a resident at Meridian Gardens of Riverside. I am writing this to thank you all for the many many kindness you have extended to my sister and family. In this day of age it is EXCEPTIONAL! My sister has had more than her share of challenges and I am unable to be by her side or visit dad due to many miles away and I have to take care of my ill husband. I know dad is receiving the best care- because YOU CARE! From the bottom of my heart I thank you and say God Bless you!

They do a really good job with the patients, and the place is very clean and well laid out (easy to get around and navigate). Mom is always clean and well-dressed. The food there is also very good. If I were to offer any critique it would be that I am not sure that they are adequately staffed, especially in the night time. Other than that I have been very happy with the whole situation.

For any family with a loved one who needs care , please take a tour and meet the people at Pacifica . You will be surprised to find a place for your loved one that cares as much for their health and happiness as you do. My mother spent her last days there with both their care and community hospice , so I speak with the factual truth they do what they say !! they helped my family those last days enjoy my mothers last days as well as you could.

My experience and my families experience with Pacifica Senior Living Modesto was extremely good. My mom recently passed away, and they gave her a great place to be, and allowed us to spend plenty of time with her. Going through experiences like this can be painful, but if I had to do it again I would definitely choose Pacifica Senior Living Modesto, and would highly recommend them.

Lovely, caring. Place. Loved it the moment I walked through the door. Staff are the best. Love the openness of the environment. An all exclusive place. You will love it as well!

I like the cleanliness and the friendliness, and that it's a small, homey place. My mother in law likes having a three good meals a day, and being able to interact with other people. I like that they're able to give her her medications, and change her clothes, do her laundry and housekeeping. The only thing I could want is maybe a little bit better decor in side the rooms themselves.
