My Mother who has resided at Valley Crest for almost a year. At the beginning it was very difficult for her, but over time the kindness given to her made her feel more comfortable and relaxed. she has become very close to many residents there and also with the staff. I am grateful to Valley Crest for the care given to my mother. Valley Crest has made a very difficult situation easier to bare.

Very nice home environment. The residence all looked very happy and well taken care of. I love the idea that they have a secured garden area where they can stroll and even stroll their pets! Everyone was extremely friendly and you could tell they really cared for their residence.

Music was good. Food was great. Service was good. There were a lot of people and i was able to get my food on time. [Name removed] helped out in the kitchen and the staff was dressed up.

My Mom has been there for 3 weeks now and is doing great. Staff , food and activities are wonderful, Very nice place

Sunshine care was like a final gift. Our regret is we did not move her there sooner. Beautiful surroundings and activities and excellent care. She passed away 2 months after moving there. We wish she had been there longer to enjoy it. The price is amazing compared to our previous facility which was 2.5 times more expensive without nearly the individualized care and attention and small homey atmosphere. To know the price would not increase with each and every need was perfect as someone in memory care would naturally have increased needs. The previous place billed for every single thing and there was no maximum. I could not recommend Sunshine care more highly

My grandfather was here for over a year and sadly passed away a few days ago. However Valley Crest offered a great experience for the residents and the family of the residents. It is very sad seeing and experiencing someone with Alzheimer’s or a memory disease. But Valley crest works with you and your loved one and offers a great experience. They aren’t just another resident, they are treated special. They aren’t forced to go to their room or be put in a certain part of the facility, they are taken very well care of. Not to mention the employees and managers are a gift from God. If you have a loved one who needs to be put into a care facility please consider Valley Crest. It may be difficult seeing them put into a home, however they are treated like family instead of just another number on a spreadsheet.

The new management team of Crescendo Senior Living of Placentia is a group of people with big hearts to seniors. I am a frequent visitor, visited the assisted living and often their memory care. In the memory care, I have never seen so much passion in the staff. The love they give to my friend is overwhelming. I don't know where their patience is coming from but I have so much great respect for them. On going activities, lots of laughter and staff respect and connect with their clients. My friend is a happy camper compared to where she came from!!! Glad she moved, now I always have quality visits with my friend!

My husband spent only one week at Meridian Gardens before he passed but the careing and concern were wonderful?. The whole staff will always have a special place in my heart. They were so kind to me and my family. The grounds are lovely and staff is wonderful.

I took a tour last week for the second time. We were looking for a place for my mom who has early onset dementia. Everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly. Every worker had a smile on their face and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. They seemed to know all of the residents very well and they seemed to be well taken care of. During both of my visits it was mid-day and it did seem that the residents should of been doing some kind of activity. What was on the activity calendar wasn't being done but I was told they had to move some things around. The decor was a little out dated but the care they seem to give the people their in my opinion far out weigh that. We weren't able to place my Mom because we decided to move out of state but we would do it in a heart beat.

My wife has been a resident at Valley Crest since November 2015 and I am very happy that I chose Valley Crest. Kimberly [last name removed] is an outstanding Director. She spends many hours over an eight hour day ensuring that the residents receive the best of care. She is always accessible to family members that have questions or problems. She feels that your problems are her problems and she does not stop until they are solved. The staff at Valley Crest are outstanding. I am there every day with my wife and I see how they meet the residents needs with a cheerful smile and attitude. Caring for someone who has fading memory or has lost it all is difficult to say the least. I have never seen any of the staff lose their temper or lose their patients. I've seen some residents hit or push staff members and the staff member would calm them down with loving care. Your love ones will never get the care that you would give them at home but I feel that Valley Crest is the next best place. I have looked at a lot of the nursing homes here in this area and Valley Crest is the one for my wife. My wife has been on a down hill slide with dementia for the last ten years so I have been in most care facilities in our area. If your love one has a memory problem and you see that you will have to place them in a home I would suggest that Valley Crest is the first place to look.

Things seem to be going pretty well here. The staff is attentive and thoughtful. The facility itself is nice, clean and well maintained. The other residents here are very nice too. So far, this has been a pretty pleasant experience at Sunlit Gardens.

Whenever anybody walks in to Pacifica Senior Living Sierra Vista, they are welcomed in warmly and lovingly. I love that it is not too big and not too small. They are taking really good care of my mom. Since they are not too big, they are able to give my mother the level of care and attention that she needs, which she did not have at a previous place. Everything about it has really been very good and I highly recommend them.

So far I am very happy as is my Dad. A great home at a good price.

We chose Pacifica Senior Living Modesto because we had a good experience with one of Pacifica's assisted living facilities. They are very personable, made us feel welcome, and encouraged us to speak with current residents. Pacifica was also really helpful in explaining all the different medical options and answering all of our questions.

[name removed], the person that assisted us in getting into Valley Crest from the beginning is an absolute angel. She assisted us every step of the way. Unfortunately the delay due to Mom's fall caused us to lose the room at Valley Crest but we were able to get one at [community removed].

[name removed] was very knowledgeable and helpful and she was a huge reason we chose Crescendo to begin with.

We are very satisfied with The Lakes. My only minor concern was the Director's availability prior to move in. She was often unavailable, and missed one appointment without prior notice. Our dad has made new friends and is doing much better since moving in. The food isn't what he's used to and some options are not the best so he has lost some weight, but overall is thriving since moving in.

The staff have not been responsive to my requests and concerns to the point where I had to reach out to your staff to help me. I have sent multiple emails with no response. Also, I am not confident my dad is getting his medications when he is supposed to.

The staff and caregivers were so kind and invested in the well-being of my mom during her time there. I am very thankful for their kindness.

Generally care is good. They will be changing management in November. There have been a few times when we have had some challenges. Management took care of it right away. They have tried hard to hire staff. The complaint of the young people is it's too much work and they quit. I am generally satisfied. We’re all human and no place is going to be perfect. Example : My husband's meal delivery was late. They check on him every two hours as promised. He gets his bath as promised. Caregivers are friendly and helpful. Management is more than helpful.
